Shankar Andrew was an Operations Manager with the Travel and Tours industry from 2005 till Oct 2009 managing the inbound and outbound contact centre for Malnata Holdings before he joined Scicom Msc Berhad in March 2010. He joined the contact centre industry as an Assistant Manager and was entrusted to manage the entire call floor as the Real Time Floor Manager for Air Asia English after being an Assistant Manager for just over 4 months.
His proudest moment was when he was awarded the “Scicom Certificate of Appreciation” in Nov 2010 for Team Leader contributions. During his tenure in Scicom, he was seconded to manage the Astro Transformer project in Nov 2010 until March 2011, his role there was to mentor a team of 11 Assistant Managers and to oversee their teams. Upon his return to Air Asia, he was once again seconded to manage the MDeC project which lasted 1 month and had a success rate of 85%.
